Safe sharpening procedure:
Place the sharpener on a stable, flat surface, such as a table or work surface and make sure the sharpening blade are facing you.
Grip the sharpener by the long end.
Set the knife blade between the sharpeners and draw the knife towards you, working from the rear to the tip. Only light to moderate pressure is required.
Repeat until the blade is sharp.
